Pat Roberts catches the eye as a result of his impressive blend of skill and technique, be that playing in behind a central striker or when drifting in from the right flank. His close control and confident dribbling ability also make him a valuable attacking outlet.
On top of making his Under-18s debut, Roberts also won his first England youth cap when coming on as a second-half substitute in the Under-16s’ 5-0 defeat of Northern Ireland in the Victory Shield in September 2012.
After a highly positive 2012/13 season for Roberts, the youngster knows the hard work has only just begun, but has continued to develop - now featuring for Kit Symons' Under-21 side on occasion.
The Club received a boost following his 17th birthday, as he signed a professional deal keeping him at the Club until June 2016.
