The versatile Sambou, who can also play at centre-back, has been at the Club since he was 12 and is fully focused on earning his first professional contract following an impressive 2011/12 campaign - in which he featured heavily for the Under-18s.

With that in mind, the season ahead is an important one for the player, whose steady development has already been noted. One of the most vocal players in the Academy, Sambou is also one of the most committed.
