Having recovered from injury, young striker Richard Peniket is determined to make up for lost time as he leaves his teenage years behind.
The Whites secured his services from Walsall ahead of a number of leading Barclays Premier League clubs, with the Wales Under-21 international spending time at both Manchester United and Liverpool.
Tall, strong and committed, Peniket has been a consistent goalscorer over the years, leading the line with intelligent movement and link-up play. He has also been known to play in midfield, showing an ability to drop back and defend too.
Last season he spent time on loan at League Two club Hereford United, making seven appearances for the Bulls in a period of undoubted development. In August 2012, the striker joined Kidderminster Harriers on a Youth Loan contract before being recalled in November.
In January 2013, Peniket joined AFC Telford on a one-month youth loan deal, scoring once before returning to SW6. It was then announced on 1st March that he would join up with Farnborough on a one-month loan deal, which was later extended until 27th April.
