Having caught the eye while playing for Portsmouth, Ryan Williams was widely recognised as one of the brightest young talents in the Championship during 2011/12.
Joining Fulham in January 2012, the Australian winger impressed for both our Under-18s and Development Squad, giving determination, pace and skill to either flank. He is arguably most effective when going on the outside and delivering crosses into the box though.
His older brother Rhys and twin Aryn play for Middlesbrough and Burnley respectively, and Ryan would like nothing more than to follow his older sibling into regular first team football and into the Australian national team set-up.
He has already faced our west London rivals Chelsea in an FA Cup clash for former club Portsmouth, and having won many admirers in that encounter, the Club hope he can develop further at Craven Cottage.
On 14th February 2013, he joined npower League Two side Gillingham on a 28-day loan deal, while he gained further experience when he was selected to represent the Socceroos at the Under-20 World Cup in Turkey.
Ahead of the 2013/14 season, Williams joined Oxford United on a youth loan until 1st January 2014 and impressed sufficiently to see the deal extended until the end of the season.
