In what proved to be a season of much positivity for the Academy, young left-back Sean Kavanagh was one of the stand-out performers of the 2011/12 campaign.
Now working with the Under-21s, the Republic of Ireland Under-19 international will look to continue his development and impress once more. Tenacious in the tackle and ambitious when on the ball, the youngster is considered to be one of the Club’s brightest prospects.
Technically assured and a fine reader of play, it is, however, his ability to deliver pin-point crosses that has most regularly got those in attendance talking.
His progress is even more startling when considering the fact that last season was his first at a professional club. Despite his relative in-experience the youngster has gone from strength-to-strength.
