One of a number of our summer 2011 arrivals, Tom Donegan joined Fulham having helped former club Everton to the Academy League Final winners’ trophy at his new employer’s expense.
Having stood out in that 2-1 defeat, the Club moved quickly to secure the services of the talented ball-playing central midfielder as a number of our top-flight rivals looked to pounce.
Two weeks after coming in, Donegan was promoted to First Team duties, and made his professional debut in Fulham’s 3-1 defeat of Crusaders FC in the first leg of our second qualifying round UEFA Europa League clash.
In returning to the Development Squad, the midfielder became a key player over the course of the 2011/12 season by making a number of assists and scoring vital goals.
On 12th February 2013, Donegan joined non-League Farnborough on a one-month loan.
