We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy catering team at our Motspur Park training ground. You will be responsible for assisting the Kitchen and Front of house team in maintaining the cleanliness of all kitchen areas.
Your duties will include:
- Cleaning and polishing cutlery
- Washing up and using the dishwasher
- Wiping down chairs and tables
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Collecting and putting away deliveries using stock rotation
- Moving stock and equipment around site
- Deep cleaning equipment
- Basic food preparation
- Maintaining wash up area and associated equipment
- Taking out rubbish and maintaining high levels of hygiene in waste areas
- Maintaining stock levels of chemical and cleaning products
- Disposing of waste materials
You will be a confident communicator with the ability to converse with people at all levels in a professional and polite manner and be able to work efficiently as part of a team.
Candidates must have a basic food hygiene certificate.
This is a full-time role and will include working 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and bank holidays. There may be on occasion some late/evening shifts.
