Fulham will take an academy team to Hong Kong to compete in the HKFC Citi Soccer Sevens tournament for the first time

This will be the Young Whites’ debut in the tournament which will run from May 17th- 20th and this will mark the 20th anniversary of the competition. The format of the game is a seven-a-side competition on smaller pitches, but normal sized goals. They are made up of two ten-minute halves. 

We have been drawn in Group A alongside Portuguese debutants Portimonense, West Ham and a local team, HKFC Captain’s Select.

Newcastle United are the holders of the tournament after beating Rangers in the final last year. Fellow English sides Brighton, Aston Villa, Leicester and Wolves will also compete in a unique location and venue that will prove a tough test in the humidity.
