Bio

Ollie O'Neill is a versatile midfielder who signed a scholarship with the club ahead of the 2019/20 season. He is capable of playing anywhere in midfield, but enjoys featuring most on the left side.

He began to make regular appearances for the Under-23s in pre-season friendlies ahead of the 2020/21 campaign before establishing himself as a vital cog in the Under-18s machine. He was given the captain's armband a couple of years ago, while Adrion Pajaziti featured for the Under-23s, and helped guide the side to a second league title in a row.

The Irishman then scored four goals and recorded 10 assists in his 23 appearances down the left-hand side, before being given the annual 'Scholar of the Year' Award after the completion of the season.

After stepping up permanently to the Under-23s setup, Ollie became one of the first names on the team sheet, scoring six and assisting three in his 23 PL2 appearances last season.
