Bio

When Marco Silva was appointed as the new Head Coach of Fulham, he brought his close associate Luis Boa Morte with him as First Team Coach.

The pair first met when Boa Morte was Under-19s coach at Sporting Clube de Portugal and Silva was in charge of the senior side, and they teamed up again several years later at Everton.

Boa Morte needed no introduction to Fulham fans, with his status as a modern legend already secured.

After joining us initially on loan from Arsenal, he helped Jean Tigana’s side win the Division One title at a canter.

He later went on to be named Club Captain, and departed having scored 54 times in 250 appearances for Fulham.

Boa went on to play for West Ham United amongst others, before getting into coaching, some of which he did in the Fulham Academy.
