Bio
Fulham's Academy welcomed Slovakian goalkeeper Marek Rodák midway through the 2012/13 season, before signing him permanently in July 2013.
The stopper began his career in his homeland with MFK Košice before being offered a trial with Fulham. Rodák was put straight into the Under-18 setup, despite his tender age, and immediately impressed, becoming first-choice for the remainder of the season and even elevating himself to become the goalkeeper for Fulham's successful Dallas Cup campaign with the Under-19s.
He was a vital part of the Under-18 side who claimed their second successive Barclays Premier League title, before playing a key role as Fulham reached the Final of the FA Cup Youth Cup for the first time in 2014.
The 2014/15 season saw him take his place among the Fulham substitutes for the first time for our win over Leeds United at Elland Road, before he joined Farnborough in January on a two-month youth-loan. He finished the campaign having made 16 appearances for Fulham's Under-21 side.
On 15th January 2016, he joined Welling United on loan for the remainder of the season, and a year later he took in a similar spell with League Two outfit Accrington Stanley. He made a huge impact at Stanley, helping them move from relegation candidates to comfortably mid-table courtesy of a 13 match unbeaten run.
After making his First Team debut for Fulham at the beginning of the 2017/18 campaign, Rodák joined League One outfit Rotherham United on loan for the remainder of the season. He helped the Millers win promotion via the Play-Offs, and he then returned to the New York Stadium for 2018/19.
Despite impressing between the sticks, Rodák was unable to prevent Rotherham's relegation from the Championship. A firm fan favourite during his time at the club, he racked up 84 appearances during his time in Yorkshire.
A regular in the Slovakia national setup, Rodák forced his way into the Fulham First Team picture in 2019/20, making his league debut for the Club in a win over Luton Town.
He has twice helped Fulham win promotion to the Premier League, featuring 36 times - including at Wembley - as we went up via the Play-Offs in 2019/20, and 33 times as the Whites claimed the Championship title two years later.
