Bio

McAvoy gained his first scholarship at the start of the 2018/19 season. He has represented Scotland across multiple age groups and was recently selected for his nation's Under-21s.

The versatile defender is highly regarded by the Academy coaching staff and as a result, he made the permanent step up to the Under-23s for the 2020/21 season.

The technical centre-back showed great promise during his loan spell alongside George Wickens at Wealdstone during the 2021/22 season. He made 28 appearances and his consistently strong performances saw him pick up an end of season award before returning to Fulham.

Connor put in some solid displays for the First Team during their pre-season tour in Portugal and regularly trained with the senior squad.

After consistently performing well in Scotland last season, his loan spell at Partick Thistle was cut short due to a campaign-ending injury.
