On Wedesnday July 26th 2023, Hayden Mullins was appointed as Fulham's Under-21s Head Coach.

A defensive midfielder in his playing days, Mullins started his career at Crystal Palace, racking up an impressive 246 appearances for the Eagles. He played over 100 times for West Ham United and Portsmouth before enjoying shorter stints with Reading, Birmingham City and Notts County. 

Following a successful playing career, Mullins turned his attention to coaching and spent four years at Watford as their Under-21s Head Coach between 2016 and 2020. Within that period, he took charge of the Watford First-Team on an interim basis on a couple of occasions. 

In September 2020, Mullins left Watford to take up a coaching role at Colchester United. He became Colchester’s Head Coach in May 2021, with a difficult run of results leading to his dismissal eight months later.

Mullins most recently picked up some experience coaching on the international scene with Turks and Caicos Islands.

The 45-year-old’s first season at Fulham was a successful and entertaining one, with our Under-21s winning the Premier League Cup and finishing third in PL2.

In his role at Motspur Park, Mullins is responsible for the day-to-day training programme for the players while supporting the long-term development of individuals throughout the Professional Development Phase.
