The Welsh international joined us from Jersey, a place Malcolm Elias has a rich history of plucking players from. He’s one of a few who have come from that island, dating all the way back to Marlon Fossey.

Luke trialled at the Academy for a number of years, whilst negotiations took place between us and PL/EFL/FA regarding his eligibility, being domiciled on the Channel Islands. He was finally able to register with us on 13/06/2019.

A likeable player, Luke models his game on Frank Lampard and has gained international recognition, being called up by England and Wales in the last two years.

Luke enjoyed a fantastic first season for the Under-18s, despite the fact he was aged just 15 for the majority of the campaign. With eight goals and three assists to his name, he is sure to feature heavily for the upcoming season.

The 17-year-old was one of the brightest performers during the 2021/22 season, and quickly jumped up to the Under-23s having shone at the level below. He seemed to make fairly light work of that level also, scoring 13 goals in 17 league appearances. The youngster has a bright future ahead and is certainly one to watch.
