We are currently recruiting for highly motivated Kitchen Assistants to join our Restaurant Team based at our Training Grounds in New Malden. You will be required to assist with the preparation and food service at the Motspur Park Restaurant and all other services associated with the restaurant operation.
You will be responsible for the presentation and cleanliness of the restaurant as well as ensuring that all health and safety requirements are met. Other responsibilities will include the daily set up of the restaurant, washing up, clearing tables, organising deliveries, maintaining costs through portion control and other general kitchen duties.
Candidates must have a basic food hygiene certificate and previous experience of working within a commercial restaurant environment is desirable.
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work calmly under pressure. You will also need to display a genuine commitment to high quality standards, have a flexible attitude to work tasks and have good numeracy skills.
