Post 16 programme Lead Teacher
Background:
Sarah Lipscombe has worked for Fulham since April 2018, having previously been Head of Department for Sport and Public Services in a College. Sarah’s background has been with teaching 16–19-year-olds Sport BTEC Diplomas and working in higher education since she graduated from Bucks New University with a degree in Sports Coaching and Performance.
Sarah previously played football for Fulham Women between the ages of 12-22.
The Role:
Sarah is responsible for the Under 18s' education on a daily basis, planning and delivering lessons for the boys to complete their education alongside their football contract. She is also the lead CPC role for the boys' Apprenticeship in Football and will help them to work towards achieving this and their BTEC Diploma in Sporting Excellence.
Alongside this, Sarah provides education support for the younger ages in the academy and will visit schools, support with work and have education reviews to ensure all the players are working towards their target grades at school.
