How We Support Primary Schools
Literacy and Numeracy Classroom Support
Our staff work with teachers to deliver effective 1 on 1 support in curriculum literacy and numeracy lessons. We use the power of the badge to engage disengaged pupils and improve the motivation of those who find it difficult to access learning in mainstream sessions. This raises the profile of PE and sport and can be used across the school as a tool for whole-school improvement.
Supporting the Delivery of Physical Education
We provide PE expertise for teachers who have identified that they would like additional support to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence in planning and teaching of PE. Our staff work alongside teachers to share their knowledge and to support the transfer of classroom skills into the PE environment.
PE Curriculum and PPA Cover
We support the delivery of high-quality physical education. All of our staff specialise in the planning and delivery of PE to Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. We raise the profile of school sport and physical activity in primary schools as positive, sporting role models.
Lunchtime Supervision
We’re on hand to help facilitate safer, more active lunchtimes. As an additional lunchtime supervisor, our staff embed positive behaviours and more physical activity in primary schools. Whether this is refereeing the year 6 football match, playing catch with reception or identifying pupils who have no one to play with and engaging them, we proactively address problem areas to create more active, inclusive lunchtimes.
Social Action
As part of our Premier League Primary Stars programme, we facilitate the delivery of a number of effective youth social action activities. These projects are flexible to meet the needs and availability of the facilities at our local schools.
Project:Teamwork
Project: Teamwork is a block of PSHE lessons which focuses on:
- Promoting positive behaviours
- Educating pupils on anti-discriminatory language and behaviours
- Improving teamwork skills
- Empowering pupils to be active allies
These sessions can be delivered as a whole-class intervention or to a targeted cohort of pupils who would benefit from its content. It is typically delivered to pupils who have an interest in sport and would benefit from working with a positive sporting role model.
We have a wide-range of lessons that can be delivered, and the school are able to specify what content is most appropriate for your setting and the needs of your pupils.
Mentoring
The power of the Fulham FC badge allows us to build rapport with pupils quickly and helps create an environment where children feel comfortable talking about the challenges they face. Our flexible approach to mentoring allows us to align the programme to the school’s intended outcomes and utilise the facilities to create a bespoke programme that combines physical activity with emotional wellbeing.
Extra-Curricular Clubs
We deliver a range of breakfast and after-school clubs engaging hundreds of pupils every week in physical activity and school sport.

Supported by the Premier League
Premier League Primary Stars is the Premier League’s primary school education programme. Funded by the Premier League through the Premier League Charitable Fund, the programme uses the appeal of football to help children be active and develop essential life skills.
Launched in 2017, and available to every Primary School in England and Wales, Fulham FC Foundation is one of more than 100 professional football club community organisations delivering Premier League Primary Stars, supporting pupils in the classroom, the playground and the sports field. More than 18 million children have benefitted from the national programme to date.
Premier League Primary Stars enables teachers to use resources across English, PSHE, PE and Maths, to support children to develop skills and values that are crucial to success in later life.
Fulham FC Foundation began its Premier League Primary Stars delivery in 2017 and has since supported over 8,000 young people in over 100 primary schools.
The programme also provides teachers and parents with access to more than 650 downloadable resources across a range of curriculum subjects at Key Stage 1 (age 5-7) and Key Stage 2 (age 7-11), developed by teachers for teachers, and in collaboration with experts such as the National Literacy Trust.
