Our Under-21s return to Barclays Under-21 Premier League action tonight with Everton the visitors to Motspur Park (7pm).

Kit Symons’ side enter the match on the back of last week’s impressive 3-0 defeat of Aston Villa in the inaugural Barclays Under-21 Premier League Cup and will look to extend their unbeaten form in the league.

Winning five and drawing four of their nine fixtures, the Whites currently occupy second spot, one point behind league leaders West Ham United.

Without a league fixture in almost a month, Fulham defeated Bolton Wanderers 3-1 in early November with Moussa Dembélé (2) and Buomesca Tué Na Bangna on target.

Opponents Everton (seventh in table), are unbeaten in five matches and last time out, were held to a goalless draw against Manchester United. The Toffees have also reached the last 16 of the Barclays Premier Under-21 League Cup following their 3-2 win against Middlesbrough, with Matthew Kennedy and Chris Long (2) scoring the goals.

Overseen by former defender Alan Stubbs, Everton’s Under-21 squad includes a number of promising young England youth internationals – including Long, George Green, Hallam Hope, Jonjoe Kenny, Ryan Ledson and John Lundstram.
