Fulham Under-19s have flown to Switzerland to compete in the FC Aesch International tournament. The competition runs until Saturday and is split into Group A & B before the majority of the squad will prepare for the Under-18s’ opening game of the season against Tottenham.

The Young Whites kicked off their campaign in Group B at 11:45am, slipping to a 2-0 defeat against Palmeiras FC Sao Paulo. They are also the final game of today’s schedule against FC Basel at 4:15pm. The final tie takes place tomorrow against Juventus at 5:15pm before the tournament moves into the semi-finals on Saturday.

The games consist of two 30-minute halves and teams are also marked on their disciplinary record to compete for the fair play trophy.
