Fulham FC staff and fans will cycle 100 miles of closed roads through the capital and into the hills of the Surrey countryside in support of Fulham FC Foundation.
The challenging route includes leg-testing climbs made famous by cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics. Cyclists will finish the ride on the Mall in front of thousands of spectators.
Craven Cottage receptionist and long-time Foundation supporter, Ed Vanson, is taking on the challenge, stating: “I signed up to Ride London because I love a challenge and am a massive fan of the work that Fulham FC Foundation does in helping to build better lives through sport. I am excited to fundraise for them, and the sore legs after the ride will be worth it!”
The team of nine riders has already raised more than £5,000 for Fulham FC Foundation and are well on their way to hitting their £6,000 target. If you would like to make a donation to the team, simply donate here: justgiving.com/campaign/RideLondon219
