Brentford v Fulham - Wembley Stadium - Tuesday 4th August 2020 - 7.45pm
The opposition
Brentford will be hoping it’s third time lucky in their promotion bid after twice squandering the chance to go up automatically. Victory in either of their final two fixtures against relegation threatened Stoke City and Barnsley would have seen them finish second, but they were beaten on each occasion. It was three defeats in a row when they then lost their Play-Off Semi-Final First Leg in Swansea, but the Bees responded well in the return fixture to seal their place at Wembley courtesy of a 3-2 aggregate win.

“I think Fulham are fearing us because we have won against them two times and they haven't scored. I think we are favourites. We have won twice against them this season so I don't see why we shouldn't be favourites.” – Brentford midfielder Emiliano Marcondes
