A season lasting 367 days finally came to an end for Fulham in the most glorious way possible at Wembley Stadium a week ago.
We’d begun 2019/20 with defeat at Barnsley on the opening day, but a full calendar year later we were preparing for a Play-Off Final against local rivals Brentford.
The media darlings went into the game as favourites, but Scott Parker’s men put in a fearless display on the night to deservedly return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
It has been a campaign like no other. There were some downs along the way, but the character of the side ensured it would end with the greatest up there is.
With huge contributions from all over the pitch, this could be one of the tightest votes we’ve seen in years.
