West Ham United v Fulham | London Stadium | Saturday 7th November | 8pm | #WHUFUL

The opposition

  • After a slow start to the season that saw them lose their opening two matches, West Ham have been excellent in the fixtures that have followed. They put seven past Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City with no reply, before recovering from being three goals down to draw at Tottenham Hotspur. They then held Manchester City 1-1, before putting in another good display at Liverpool only to be edged out 2-1 by the champions.
  • The 3-3 draw with rivals Spurs saw West Ham become the first side in Premier League history to avoid defeat in a game having been 3-0 down as late as the 81st minute.
  • Scott Parker would have received a hero’s welcome if fans were in attendance on Saturday. Our Head Coach made 129 appearances for the Hammers and won their player of the year award in three of his four seasons at the club.

West Ham team news

Joint top scorer Michail Antonio was absent for the Liverpool defeat, with Saturday also likely to come too soon for the forward. Aaron Cresswell picked up a knock at Anfield but has recovered sufficiently, while a rib injury picked up in training rules out captain Mark Noble.

Fulham team news

Mario Lemina is a fresh doubt after being substituted at half-time of Monday's victory over West Bromwich Albion. Kenny Tete and Terence Kongolo still have some way to go, while Aboubakar Kamara is suspended.

Coverage

The game will be shown live on BT Sport Box Office. Instructions on how to purchase the match can be found here. FFCtv subscribers can also listen to live commentary from Gentleman Jim and Jamie Reid.

Player insight

Bobby De Cordova-Reid is aware of the threats posed by a strong West Ham United side, but insists Fulham are heading to the London Stadium in high spirits.

“They’re a good team, we know their dangers,” he told fulhamfc.com. “We’ve got to be solid as a unit away from home and try and nick something.

“We’ve got confidence going into the game, so we’ll have a good go and try and get three points.

“With the international break coming up, if we can get more points on the board going into that it would be perfect.

“We’re brimming with confidence going into the game off the back of a win, so hopefully we can make it back-to-back.”
