Following on from the incredible success of our inaugural event last season, Fulham FC Foundation’s second annual DisAbility Matchday March will take place on Saturday 8th May 2021, presented by Fulham FC Official Club Partner and Supplier WALK London!

Participants from across Fulham FC Foundation programmes and the wider Fulham FC community are invited to ‘March’ from home, supporting our DisAbility programmes by raising funds via the JustGiving platform.

WALK London, proud Fulham fans and London locals, were delighted to help present the event for the very first time, said James Di Mambro, Director of WALK London. “We have always been keen to support the Fulham FC Foundation in any way we could and since our partnership has grown, we couldn’t be happier to be involved and help raise awareness for Fulham FC Foundation. We are extremely proud to be able to support the DisAbility Matchday March and hope everyone can do whatever they can to play their part and support the amazing work Fulham FC Foundation does.”

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, participants will take part in the DisAbility Matchday March from home. Completing their chosen 'March' distance of 3, 5 or 10 miles within their local area, starting and finishing from their home. Katy Shephard, Fulham FC Foundation DisAbility Development Officer, said this season’s virtual experience will have a few special elements. “Even though we all cannot wait to get back to Craven Cottage, this season a virtual event enables all participants to take part, being able to set their own route in and around their neighbourhood. We will have an online 'opening ceremony' and a virtual finish line providing some of a typical Matchday March experience, then participants will be back home in time to relax, with some food and drink, to watch the Fulham v Burnley game!“

Bookings can be made via fulhamsoccerschools.com under DisAbility Events. Once registered you will be sent a Welcome Pack with all you need to get started, detailing how to set up your JustGiving page linked to the DisAbility Matchday March 2021 fundraising page.
