Fulham Under-23s will be given another good challenge on Monday, as they host league champions Leeds United (KO 1pm).

Form

Fulham:

The young Whites' excellent 4-1 win over Aston Villa was unfortunately followed by a narrow 1-0 defeat in Middlesbrough last Friday. Our 23s put in a good away performance against an in-form side, but a late second half goal snatched the points for Boro.

Leeds United:

It's been an impressive season for Mark Jackson's Under-23s, in their first year as a Category One club. They've won their last four league games and after a consistent season, will be heading for Division One.

Last Time Out

It was an unpleasant trip for Mark Pembridge and Colin Omogbehin's side, who came up against a hugely experienced Leeds team. Fabio Carvalho grabbed our goal in a 7-1 defeat before Christmas.

Player Thoughts

Defender Lesley Duru is looking forward to Monday's test.

"This will be a great challenge for all of us. In recent games, we've shown our ability to press teams and turn them over. Hopefully, if we stick together Leeds will be no different.

"I think we were very unfortunate to drop points against Middlesbrough," Duru added. "We created a handful of good chances and I thought the boys were excellent to be honest."

As he approaches the end of the season, our left-back reflects on his time in Fulham colours so far.

"For me personally, I've enjoyed every second of my time here. I've learnt so much and the boys and all the staff have been top quality. I honestly couldn't ask for anything better."
