Loan Round-Up: Three Debuts

Stefan Johansen got off to a great start for west London side Queens Park Rangers. He’s helped his team pick up six points from his first two games, recording wins against Watford last Monday and Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

Jean Michaël Seri also made his debut for Ligue 1 side Bordeaux, being introduced in the 57^th minute in midfield. Unfortunately, he couldn't claim a win in his first game at the club, with Brest edging it with a 2-1 victory.

We also saw a debut for Neeskens Kebano, who joins fellow loanee Marcus Bettinelli at Middlesbrough. Neeskens got 69 minutes under his belt for Neil Warnock’s men, who suffered a 4-1 defeat to Brentford, meaning they’ve lost three of their last four.

Anthony Knockaert scored his second goal for Nottingham Forest, helping them secure a comfortable 3-0 away win over Wycombe Wanderers. Knocks latched onto a ball in by Joe Lolley before smashing it into the top corner. Cyrus Christie also played the full 90 minutes.

Alfie Mawson made his 11^th appearance for fellow Championship outfit Bristol City, who fell to their third defeat in a row after a 2-0 loss to Cardiff City.

League One side Plymouth Argyle fought for a point at promotion hopefuls Portsmouth, with Jerome Opoku playing the full game and securing his 18^th appearance for The Pilgrims.

Jaydn Mundle-Smith featured again for Maidstone United, who ended up on the wrong end of a nine-goal thriller in the FA Trophy.

Striker Timmy Abraham made another couple of appearances for Scottish Championship outfit Raith Rovers. He played the full 90 minutes in the Fife derby, but his side fell to a 4-1 loss against Dunfermline Athletic.

Timmy had a first-half strike blocked by the goalkeeper but was unable to influence the game after that.

Maxime Le Marchand remained on the bench for Belgian side Royal Antwerp, while Aboubakar Kamara was not in the squad for Dijon FCO.

Taye Ashby-Hammond was in goal for Maidenhead United on Saturday, who fell to a 1-0 defeat to Boreham Wood. Our young ‘keeper did excellently to keep his team in the game, saving a penalty in the 72^nd minute.
