Fulham Under-18s made a winning start to their string of pre-season games, recording a 2-1 away win over AFC Bournemouth on Saturday morning.
The young Whites controlled the game and saw plenty of the ball, but ended up a goal behind on the South coast.
Nevertheless, Steve Wigley's boys responded well and one of our trialists headed home at the back post to level the scoring. The winning strike involved some great link up play, with Michael Olakigbe sliding Olly Sanderson through on goal. The forward made no mistake, hitting the ball low and hard into the bottom left corner.
Next up, our 18s face a trip to Stevenage on Saturday 17th July, with kick-off at 10:30am.
