Fulham Under-18s will be looking to show a response on Saturday, when they travel across London to face West Ham United (11am KO).

Form

West Ham:

It'll be another tough test for our lads, with the young Hammers picking up wins in their previous two league games. They followed up on an impressive away win at Chelsea with a comfortable 5-0 victory over Aston Villa. Sat in eighth, a win for West Ham would take them to within one point of us.

Fulham:

Ali Melloul's side struggled to perform to their usual standards last weekend and suffered defeat courtesy of a late strike at Leicester. With a number of teams tightly packed at the top of the division, our boys remain just two points off the top spot despite sitting in fifth.

Last Time Out

The two sides last met back in March and it was Steve Wigley's boys who performed on the day. A Kieron Bowie brace and strikes from Jay Stansfield and Mika Biereth secured a 4-0 win at LSE.

Player Thoughts

Imani Lanquedoc is motivated to return to winning ways.

"Last week was a tough one to take but we can't dwell on it. We have to learn from it and reflect to make sure that we do things right on Saturday.

"We're all confident that if we prepare well and work as hard as we can, we can get back to winning again.

"There's a strong togetherness within our squad so we don't hesitate when it comes to saying what we need to work on."

With both sides showing their quality so far this season, the 17-year-old is expecting a decent game of football.

"It's a London derby between two good teams so I'm sure it'll be a great game. We're focused on getting the job done this weekend."
