Fulham FC Foundation, partnership with Commonside Trust and the Met Police as part of the PASS Programme (Pollards Hill Achieving Soccer Skills), have been successful in securing funding for our Girls Kicks project within Merton from Safer Merton and the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime.

This funding, borne from our long-standing relationship working with Commonside to deliver Kicks in the Merton area, will allow young girls continued access to our programmes, such as free weekly Girls Kicks sessions as well as additional opportunities, including the recent Premier League Changemaker course.

Paul Smithers, Fulham FC Foundation Youth & Community Manager, spoke of how important local partners were to both understand our communities and secure the funding to continue our provision: “We have known Commonside Trust for a long time now, working together to deliver sessions within Merton. This funding means that our work in the area can continue to provide free football for girls aged 11 to 18 through Fulham’s Girls Kicks and help provide experiences and develop skills for our young people.”
