Jay Stansfield got himself a goal on Monday for England Under-20s, who fired five past the Czech Republic. Our young forward started the game and made a huge contribution, also playing a large part for Tino Anjorin’s goal later in the game.
Stanno was taken off on 71 minutes for Leeds United’s Lewis Bate.
The goals kept on coming for our England boys, with Michael Olakigbe scoring one goal and getting one assist on Monday afternoon for England Under-18s. The young Lions put in a convincing display to cruise past Russia with a 3-0 win. Olakigbe’s Fulham teammate, Harvey Araujo, also featured from the start.

Our nippy winger got his reward with some excellent pressing from the front. After taking the ball off a defender, he held off another challenge before coolly slotting his effort past the goalkeeper. Ten minutes later, Olakigbe took the ball down the left before pulling it back to Lewis Hall, who found the net.
Three goals down one end and a clean sheet down the other made it a memorable day for both our boys.
It was a contrasting weekend for Luke Harris and Jay Williams, whose Wales Under-19s side suffered a disappointing 5-0 defeat to Norway on Sunday.
Williams remained an unused substitute, while Harris played 72 minutes for Rob Edwards’ side before being swapped. The boys will be looking to bounce back on Tuesday, when they face Kosovo in a qualifying match.
George Okkas’ Cyprus Under-19s lost 1-0 to Romania in their rematch, while Ziyad Larkeche’s France Under-20s drew 1-1 with Tunisia.
First Team
Bobby De Cordova-Reid featured on Sunday for Jamaica, who played out a 0-0 draw with Canada in their World Cup Qualifier. Bobby featured for 74 minutes and helped create a couple of chances for his side, but the Canadian defenders protected their goal well when called into action.
Over in Group H, Slovakia picked up their fourth World Cup Qualifiers draw, this time against Croatia. Marek Rodák featured in goal and made a few smart saves to deny first Mario Pašalić and later Andrej Kramarić.

Harry Wilson's Wales picked up what could be a vital three points on Monday, with an early Kieffer Moore goal giving them a 1-0 win over Estonia.
Wilson was the first player on the field to threaten, when his dipping free-kick just six minutes in whizzed over the crossbar.
Jean Michaël Seri started for Ivory Coast, who narrowly beat Malawi by two goals to one. Our midfielder was replaced on 75 minutes after a good day's work.
