Aleksandar Mitrović’s hat-trick strike against Swansea City has been voted Fulham’s Goal of the Month for September.

In a move involving 10 different players, the Whites pinged the ball around deep in their own half before switching devastatingly into attack mode.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid spotted Denis Odoi scampering down the right and fed him perfectly, allowing the right-back to take a touch and send over a tantalising cross to Mitro who had run across his man.

The pace on the delivery meant that Mitrović just had to guide his finish, something he did flawlessly to leave the Swans ‘keeper statuesque in goal.

The beautiful team move claimed 40.3% of the vote, with the closest challengers coming from the Women’s team, where stunning individual goals from Megalie Mendes and Ellie Olds racked up 26.4% and 20.2%, respectively.

Mitro’s effort was also up for the divisional accolade, but lost out to West Bromwich Albion’s Alex Mowatt.
