From September, Fulham FC Foundation will resume the delivery of a number of activities at Fulham FC’s training ground, at Motspur Park, giving our participants the opportunity to train and play at the world class facility, alongside our Men’s, Women’s and Academy teams.
In addition to the returning programmes listed below, we are also pleased announce new activities as part of our Training Ground schedule, running on Saturday mornings. This includes a new Girls Only Skills Club session, reflecting both the increasing demand for girls’ football in South West London and the Fulham FC Foundation and Fulham Football Club’s commitment to supporting and empowering tomorrow’s women.
Female Football Development Officer Same Hadley was delighted to add this activity to an already busy schedule of Women and Girls activities at Fulham FC Foundation. “This season we’re really excited to grow our provision for Women and Girls through a new Girls Development Centre in Merton and this weekly skills club at the club’s training ground. I know our coaches cannot wait to get started working with the girls.”
Saturday mornings at Motspur Park will also host Fulham FC Foundation Active Autism and Blind and Visually Impaired activities, creating an inclusive space to encourage participation for these groups. Open to young people aged 5 to 16 years old and run by Fulham FC Foundation’s experienced DisAbility football coaching staff, these existing programmes find a new, state of the art home, at Motspur Park.
Other Fulham FC Foundation activities returning to Motspur Park include:
- Football & Education in partnership with Raynes Park High School
- Girls Development Centre & Player Pathway Programmes
- Walking Football
- Kicks Development Club
