Queens Park Rangers v Fulham | Saturday 2nd April 2022 | 3pm | Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium | #QPRFUL

The opposition

  • At the end of January, QPR were superbly placed in their promotion charge, occupying fourth spot and just two points behind second placed Blackburn Rovers, with a game in hand.
  • But their form has taken a nosedive, with Mark Warburton’s side winning just two of their 10 league fixtures since, losing six. A 3-1 home defeat by Peterborough last time out left them two points and places outside the Play-Off zone.
  • Injuries haven’t helped Rangers, with a quite remarkable goalkeeper shortage moving them to bring in veteran Keiren Westwood on a short-term deal, while influential midfielder Chris Willock picked up a season-ending injury prior to the international break.

QPR team news

With goalkeepers Seny Dieng, David Marshall, Jordan Archer and Joe Walsh all injured, Keiren Westwood will continue between the sticks. Lyndon Dykes has missed the previous seven fixtures for his club side, but could be in contention again after featuring for Scotland this week.

Fulham team news

Marco is waiting to assess the fitness levels of Antonee Robinson following his international duties with the USMNT, however, the rest of the squad is available at his disposal.

Player insight

Jean Michaël Seri outlined the high standards being kept as our season run-in begins on Saturday.

Speaking to FFCtv, Seri said: “We have prepared for this game in a normal way. It’s not about their ranking (QPR) or anything else, it’s about us - we have to focus on us.

“All of us have to have the mentality that we want to win the nine games left.

“It’s not about just being promoted, it’s about being champions - our objective was clear at the beginning of the season."
