- It’s been a busy summer for Liverpool, with club stalwart Sadio Mane departing for Bayern Munich, and Darwin Nunez coming in for a club record fee.
- Fabio Carvalho also joined the Reds following the expiry of his Fulham contract, and is one of two Academy alumni who could feature on Saturday, with Harvey Elliott also pushing for a starting berth.
- Liverpool struggled against the Whites the last time we were in the Premier League, snatching a late draw at the Cottage before slipping to a 1-0 defeat at Anfield courtesy of Mario Lemina’s strike.
