Fulham Under-21s got another point on the board with a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace on Friday.
O'Neill grabbed a couple in quick succession, before two second half Palace goals levelled the scoring.
We took on the young Eagles with a completely changed front three. Callum McFarlane led the line in place of Terry Ablade, while Martial Godo and Kristian Šekularac started on the wings.
O’Neill was pushed back into midfield to take up Luke Harris’ position against Chelsea.
The visitors got their number 10 Killian Phillips into a promising position early on, but his attempted effort from the right-hand side of the penalty box was blocked.
Palace continued to apply pressure, with Phillips trying his luck again, this time from the left side of the penalty area. His effort on the half volley was well blocked by Luciano D’Auria-Henry.
We went in front on 14 minutes, courtesy of some O’Neill magic. The Irishman curled a beautiful free-kick from a tight angle up and over goalkeeper Owen Goodman. Absolutely unstoppable.

O’Neill wasn’t done there, adding a second just a couple of minutes later. After latching onto an excellent ball over the top, he coolly slotted his effort underneath Goodman to double our advantage.
George Wickens needed to be alert on the half-hour mark, reacting quickly to catch Rob Street’s header from a free-kick. Idris Odutayo then had a go up the other end, but his effort was also well dealt with.
O’Neill’s double gave us a nice two-goal cushion at the interval.

Palace managed to grab a goal back just five minutes after the restart, courtesy of John-Kymani Gordon. The winger somehow managed to poke the ball past Wickens from the narrowest of angles. A clever finish to bring the game back to life.
Then, Matt Dibley-Dias went for a spectacular effort just past the hour mark, connecting first time with the ball on the edge of the area. His venomous strike whistled wide of the right post.

The second half saw little in the way of major chances, but the away side found a leveler on 74 minutes. Gordon attempted to square the ball after wriggling through, but his pass took a deflection before bouncing into the side netting.
Wickens came to the rescue for the young Whites a few minutes later. Street found himself through on goal after a mix up at the back, but his lob struck the arm of our stopper, who made himself big.
A second half Palace comeback means the points were shared at Motspur Park.
