Fulham Under-21s travel north to face Manchester United in the PL2 on Friday evening (7pm).

Form

Manchester United:

Mark Dempsey's side have struggled defensively since the season's launch, conceding 10 goals in their opening three games. After two losses to Arsenal and Crystal Palace, the young Reds picked up their first point last week with a 2-2 draw against Everton.

Fulham:

We're sitting pretty in third place as Friday's game approaches, following a great start to our Division One campaign. After two comfortable wins over West Ham United and Chelsea, Steve Wigley's lads dropped a 2-0 lead against Crystal Palace, thus having to accept a draw.

Last Time Out

These two sides last met at the start of the 2019/20 season, when United picked up a narrow 1-0 win up in Manchester. After the young Whites went down to 10 men, Dylan Levitt grabbed the winner with just five minutes remaining.

Ones to watch

Manchester United:

Forward Charlie McNeill is certainly a goal threat for Man United and will be hungry to get himself off the mark for the 2022/23 season. The 18-year-old scored over 600 goals for Manchester City's Academy before moving to their rivals, where has continued to bang in goals. He netted five goals in last year's FA Youth Cup, with two coming in the Semi-Final against Wolves.

Fulham:

Ollie O'Neill's quick-fire double against Palace last week means he is now on three goals in as many games, with an assist also to his name. The winger, who has also played more centrally in midfield, is looking as bright as ever at the moment.
