Fulham v Brighton & Hove Albion | Tuesday 30th August 2022 | 7.30pm | Craven Cottage | #FULBHA
The opposition
- It’s been a brilliant start to the campaign for Brighton, who are one of only five teams to remain unbeaten in the Premier League. Their undefeated run in the top flight actually stretches to nine matches when taking the end of last season into account, which is a club record.
- A mean defence has provided excellent foundations for their three wins and a draw, with an Alexis Mac Allister own goal on the opening day the only time Robert Sanchez has had to pick the ball out of his net.
- Add in the fact that they lost two key players from 2021/22 in the summer in Yves Bissouma and Marc Cucurella – to the tune of about £85m – and boss Graham Potter deserves a lot of credit for the job being done on the south coast.

Fulham team news
Long term absentees Harry Wilson and Manor Solomon are the only injury absentees, while Shane Duffy is not eligible to face his parent club.
Brighton team news
Adam Lallana, Jeremy Sarmiento and Jakub Moder will miss the trip to SW6, while Joel Veltman is a doubt after being substituted at the weekend with a stiff neck.
Player insight
Tim Ream is hoping for another lively atmosphere at Craven Cottage.
Our eventful fixtures against Liverpool and Brentford both saw the old place bouncing, and Fulham’s number 13 has asked for more of the same against the Seagulls.
“I don’t know that I’ve ever, in the seven years that I’ve been here, experienced the atmospheres that we’ve been having over the last probably seven, eight, nine games at the Cottage,” he said.
“It’s been fantastic, and the guys feel it, we do. We do feed off it.”
