We welcome Charlton Athletic to Motspur Park on Friday evening for our penultimate Premier League Cup Group A game.

Having been previously postponed, our away tie against the young Addicks will take place next Wednesday.

Form:

Fulham:

The young Whites recorded their fourth straight win in this competition last week, putting on an impressive second half display to beat Nottingham Forest 3-0. Ollie O'Neill, Martial Godo and Adrion Pajaziti all got on the scoresheet in the frosty conditions.

Charlton:

Hamza Serrar's side are in a promising position and it looks likely they'll be able to progress into the knockout stages. Although they are sat on six points alongside Forest, they have two games in hand available. They beat Hull City 2-1 in their previous game thanks to a dramatic 92nd minute winner.

Player Thoughts

Adrion Pajaziti feels it's important to finish the group strong.

"It’s definitely very important for us, especially since we haven’t had any league games due to the World Cup. We’ve been putting all of our efforts and focus into the cup games so they are very important to all of us."

The 20-year-old centre-midfielder told fulhamfc.com that his team's Premier League Cup performances so far have impressed Head Coach Steve Wigley.

"He’s been very pleased with how we have applied ourselves. We want to compete on all fronts so having won every game so far is a great achievement."

Pajaziti, moments before striking at goal

With Charlton having won two of their three group games so far, Pajaziti is expecting a good game at Motspur Park.

"They'll be a tough, physical team with a lot of pace in attacking areas, but we know if we are at our best we can beat anyone."
