The opposition
- After almost four years at the helm, Ralph Hasenhüttl was relieved of his duties in November after Southampton took just 12 points from their opening 14 matches.

Marco Silva confirmed that Layvin Kurzawa and Manor Solomon are back training with the team, but they will require some further sessions before being match ready.

Tino Livramento, Juan Larios and Romeo Lavia will all miss the final match of 2022, while Theo Walcott and Alex McCarthy are doubts.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid says Fulham won’t be underestimating Southampton, but does want them to take their good momentum into the contest.
“I think you can’t look at the table too much,” he told FFCtv. “We all know it’s tight, from a lot of positions.
“We know they’re going to come with energy, they’ve got a young squad, but at the same time, we’re in a good position and we’ve just got to take that confidence into the game.”
