Fulham Under-18s are preparing for their Premier League Cup Quarter-Final clash with Manchester City, which takes place at Motspur Park on Saturday (KO 12pm).
Ali Melloul's side scraped through the group stage as the best second placed team, beating the likes of Liverpool and Everton to the final spot on goal difference.
Form
Fulham:
The young Whites' cup journey got off to a poor start, with a particularly young side suffering a 3-1 defeat to eventual Group B winners Stoke City. However, our lads came back fighting and won both other games against Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur. Their win against Leeds would have been especially pleasing for Melloul, with his side twice coming back from behind to win 3-2. Our 18s host City after picking up an excellent three points against Chelsea in the league last weekend.

Manchester City:
City will be looking to win the competition for a third successive time and have so far progressed fairly comfortably. Despite being placed in a difficult group, they finished on seven points with wins against Aston Villa and Liverpool either side of a draw with Crystal Palace.
Last Time Out
With these two teams both winning their respective divisions last season, they met at the end of May in the U18 National Final. With entry into the UEFA Youth League at stake, unfortunately it wasn't to be for Steve Wigley's side. Two early City goals put the hosts in a good position, before they added a third shortly after the break. Adrion Pajaziti pulled one back from the penalty spot but in the end our lads fell just short.
