Our Under-23s make the long trip up to Newcastle United for a Monday night PL2 clash (KO 7pm).

Form

Newcastle:

Elliott Dickman's side are on a strong run of form but find themselves in a competitive battle for a playoff spot. Five victories in their previous six league games has sprung the young Magpies up the table, but just three points separate themselves and 10th place Burnley.

Fulham:

With our previous two games coming in the Premier League Cup, Monday night will represent our 23s' first league game since February 4th, when they beat Sunderland 2-0 at Motspur Park.

Jay Stansfield v Newcastle

Last Time Out

Steve Wigley's side last played Newcastle back in September, in a game that went the way of our young lads at Motspur Park. The visitors went ahead inside the opening two minutes, but three second half goals from Terry Ablade, Jay Stansfield and Connor McAvoy ensured we took all the points on offer.

Player Thoughts

Right-back Luciano D'Auria-Henry belives the squad are in a great place as we enter the final stretch.

"Confidence in the group is always high and so is the desire to win, especially under a manager like Steve Wigley!

"We're all working as hard as possible and I think that's transferring onto the pitch. We've got a very competitive squad which I think also makes an impact."
