Having hammered Newcastle United 6-1 on Monday, a win for our Under-23s over Aston Villa this Friday will secure the title and promotion to Division One.

The young Whites welcome the young Villans to Motspur Park, with kick-off at 7pm.

Form

Fulham:

Steve Wigley's side have been consistently excellent all season, and as a result, have built up a 20-point gap over second placed Norwich City. With 17 wins and just two losses to our name, three more points on Friday would seal it. If we draw, the title is not yet mathematically ours.

Aston Villa:

The Midlands side helped push our lads even closer to the title on Monday, when they beat Norwich 2-0 at Villa Park. It was a big result for Mark Delaney's side, who had suffered defeat in their previous two games to Newcastle and Nottingham Forest. Currently sat in fourth, play-offs will be the aim for Villa but they'll first need to pull away from Newcastle, Southampton and Stoke who all sit two points behind.

Last Time Out

Aston Villa held us to our only draw of the season way back in August. Connor McAvoy gave us an early lead from the penalty spot, before Caleb Chukwuemeka levelled the scoring just past the half-hour mark. Both sides created but neither were able to score that all important second goal.
