Just a day after signing a loan deal, Marlon Fossey made his debut for League One side Bolton Wanderers in the Papa John's Trophy.
The right-back got 90 minutes under his belt and although his side suffered a 1-0 defeat to Hartlepool, the youngster made a great impression.
Bolton Manager Ian Evatt said after the game; "Marlon gave us great energy and will only get fitter and stronger. I thought he was excellent in the first half and there were lots of positives to take."
On another day, Marlon could have grabbed himself an assist when he latched onto a floated ball over the top before firing in a delicious low cross towards Dion Charles, whose shot rolled just wide.
