Fulham Under-23s dive back into PL2 action on Friday with another away trip, this time to Southampton (7pm KO).
Form
Southampton:
The young Saints picked up a point on Thursday in what was their first game of the year. David Horseman's side were 2-1 up before West Brom's Reyes Cleary struck in stoppage time to rescue a point for the hosts. Our opposition, who sit in 10th place, will be looking for their first win since the end of November.
Fulham:
Our boys showed no signs of slowing on their return after the Christmas break, edging past Nottingham Forest to extend their winning run to an almighty 10 league games. Having played 15 times so far, the young Whites have dropped only five points and currently have a healthy lead at the top of the Division Two table.

Last Time Out
Southampton were the second team to visit Motspur Park this season and faced our 23s at their relentless best. Kieron Bowie's first half tap-in was later followed up by a Jay Stansfield brace, with the clincial finisher calmly slotting both strikes into the far bottom corner. At that point in the season, our lads had played two home games and won both by three goals to nil.
Player Thoughts
Having scored and assisted in our 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest last week, striker Kieron Bowie is feeling ready to go this year.
"We weren't at our best on Monday but we got the three points which says a lot about this group of players. On a personal note, I'm definitely feeling refreshed after some time off and hopefully I can continue to score goals for the rest of the season and push us to promotion."
Despite only stepping up to the Under-23s at the start of this season, the forward has notched three goals and three assists in 11 appearances.
"I feel I've adapted well," the Scot admitted. "I've already played against bigger boys than at Under-23s level previously, so I don't think I've struggled in terms of the step up in quality."

Heading away from Motspur Park doesn't seem to be much of an issue for the young Whites, who have won each of their previous four away league games.
"We try to play our game no matter where it is, as venue shouldn't make much difference to how we go about doing our things."
