To help get you familiar with the latest batch of scholars, we spoke to Under-18s Assistant Head Coach Andrew Joslin on each player's ability and history at the club.

Aaron Loupalo-Bi: Attacker

He joined us at the beginning of the Academy pathway (Under-9s). Aaron is a physical striker who can play with his back to goal, drop in and make runs in behind which makes him an all-round centre-forward. The team will be looking to utilise him as a focal point for our play.

Aaron scored a last minute winner against Reading for the 18s last season so he'll be familiar in relation to exposure to the Under-18s. I'm sure he'll be looking to get amongst the goals once he joins the full-time programme.

Bradley De Jesus: Attacker

Bradley joined us during the Under-12 season and he'll bring a real dynamism to our front line. He's someone who can play in both wide and central positions and he's an individual who prides himself on his movement in behind and finishing in one-on-one moments.

Again, another strong attacking player and somebody who will be looking to add key moments in terms of goals and assists. His goal contribution stats last season for the Under-16s were very impressive.

Callum Osmand: Attacker

Callum joined us at Under-13s level and he's made some really good progress over the last couple of seasons. He's a forward who enjoys moving behind opposition defences, utilising his great movement and speed.

He'll want to keep contributing to the team with goals through his hard work. His impressive performances have seen him feature for Wales Under-17s alongside fellow Fulham player Luke Harris.

Chibby Nwoko: Midfielder

Chibby joined us from Chelsea at Under-12s and he's a central midfield player who has a good range of passing.

He's joining the full-time programme and is someone who will be looking to make that transition into full-time football. We're looking forward to seeing how he develops across the next couple of seasons.

Lemar Gordon: Attacker

Lemar is another player that had some good exposure to Under-18s football last season. He spent all of the campaign with the 18s and had some really good impact, especially towards the end of the season with his goal and assist tally.

He joined the Coombe full-time schoolboy programme after the closure of the Brentford Academy.

He's an exciting winger who thrives in one-on-one situations and certainly in attacking transitions where he's able to create and finish attacks for us. We're hopeful that Lemar can use that experience from last season and perform right from the off this year.

Luc de Fougerolles: Defender

Luc is another individual that joined us at Under-9s. He was a consistent feature for the Under-18s last season as well, playing most of his football across the full-back positions. It's something that will likely be pretty similar this year as we try to add to his identity as an attacking full-back.

He can effect all three thirds of the pitch both with and without the ball. Additionally to that, he has great adaptibility across a range of positions so he'll be a key member of the playing squad for next season.

Ma'kel Bogle-Campbell: Midfielder

Ma'Kel joined us at Under-10s and has made the transition from the Foundation Phase, through the Youth Development Phase and now into the Professional Development Phase. Like Lemar, Ma'kel is also an alumni of the Coombes' School Programme.

He's an attacking midfielder who can play in a number of different roles across the unit. He likes being on the ball and staying connected to the game in order to help the team build up situations. He's got great ability to finish attacks in a variety of different ways.

Monty Conway: Goalkeeper

Monty joined us from grassroots level around the age of 12 and is a goalkeeper with excellent shot-stopping ability. He's somebody who will be joining up with the illustrious team of coaches, headed mainly by Vic Bettinelli.

We're hoping to see some great development from him across the next couple of seasons.

Oliver Gofford: Midfielder

He also joined us at Under-9s, coming in midway through that season. The lad has had a really good development pathway up to this point and featured briefly for the 18s last season, where he scored a goal against Southampton in the home fixture on the Arena Pitch.

Ollie's a dynamic central midfield player who can go box-to-box and is particularly strong in transitional moments in a game. He's also excellent when it comes to carrying the ball forward. Another player we're hoping will adapt to the programme really quickly and make a case for a starting place.

Oliver Gofford

Tom Olyott: Attacker (new signing)

Tom has recently joined us from Manchester City, where he spent most of his player pathway having previously joined from Liverpool. He was also born and raised in Merseyside.

He's making the trip down south to join up with our full-time programme. Tom's a left-footed winger who traditionally likes to play on the right side of the pitch and drift infield to connect his team in the final third. We're delighted to have him on board with us and we're hoping he makes a big impact across the next couple of seasons.

Damon Park: Defender (new signing)

Damon is another new recruit for us alongside Tom. He joined us from Oldham during pre-season and is a left-footed centre-back but can also go in at left-back if required.

He's got a good physical profile and he likes to dominate centre-forwards, so hopefully he'll add to the strong cohort of defenders we already have in the first and second years. He'll hopefully help the team work towards more clean sheets.
