Aleksandar Mitrović’s exploits last season further cemented his place as one of the greatest strikers in the history of Fulham Football Club.
His remarkable haul of 43 goals moved him into our top 10 all-time scorers, and the big man will have his eyes on reaching a century in the famous black and white early next season.
Mitro's form has sparked plenty of debate as to whether or not he is our best ever frontman, so we’re going to try and settle things once and for all.
We’ve earmarked nine different players who could lay claim to being our greatest ever goal scorer, with their case being championed by various fans. Once all nine videos have been published on FFCtv, fans will be given the chance to vote for the man they consider our best ever.
There are a number of different types of player to choose from. Our top scorer of all-time Gordon Davies is a no-brainer, while the likes of Louis Saha and Mitro are naturally in the conversation.

Johnny Haynes, Graham Leggat and Clint Dempsey were not strikers, but their goal records speak for themselves, while Allan Clarke’s goals to game ratio was nothing short of sensational.
Brian McBride scored the fewest of those on the shortlist, but provided invaluable contributions at the top end of the pitch during his four-and-a-half years in SW6, and Bedford Jezzard’s total of 154 sees him sit third in our all time standings.
The nine interviews will be published in order of how many goals that player scored for the Club, with the following fans representing:
- Gordon Davies (178 goals) – Sandra Coles, Fulham Ticket Office Manager 1973–2013
- Johnny Haynes (158 goals) – Rodney Marsh, Fulham striker 1963–1966 & 1976–1977
