Fulham Under-18s made it two Academy wins in a day with a comfortable 6-0 win over Rio Ave.
Ali Melloul's side came flying out the traps, with Terrell Works intercepting immediately before being brought down outside the area. Delano McCoy-Splatt's effort from the dead ball scraped the top of the crossbar.
We looked dangerous going forward and took the lead eight minutes in, when Bradley De Jesus poked home after a few shots before were blocked.

Our lead was later doubled on the 20-minute mark, and it was some header from defender Damon Park. De Jesus kept the move alive, backstepping to head the slightly overhit corner back into the danger area. Park's powerful attempt flew into the left corner.
The Portuguese outfit almost grabbed one back not long after, when a strike from close-range was superbly saved by goalkeeper Alfie McNally, who somehow tipped the hit onto the crossbar.
McCoy-Splatt added a third from the penalty spot just before the half hour mark, as our 18s continued to dominate play. Works stole posession in a dangerous area again before being blatantly brought down.

Ollie Gofford was next to get himself on the scoresheet, cleverly nodding over the goalkeeper to make it 4-0.
The substitutes at half-time showed their threat instantly. Striker Callum Osmand made a slaloming run before having his low shot well saved. Osmand was denied again later in the half, when his left-footed strike was blocked.
Eventually, though, he added a fifth and it was the best of the bunch. The pacey forward launched a venomous effort into the top right corner from outside the area. Then a sixth was added immediately afterwards following a blunder from the goalkeeper.
