FFCW are excited to announce the registrations of Charmaine True and Lois Konan for the upcoming 2022/23 season.
Charmaine True, formerly of Crystal Palace, Portsmouth and AFC Bournemouth, joins Fulham FC Women on a season long registration. True has been a target for Head Coach Steve Jaye for four years, with conversations starting back in 2018.
Charmaine’s record speaks for itself with eight goals in 12 starts in her last full campaign at Portsmouth FC Women. This coming in the Southern Premier Division (FA Women’s National League) showing the quality that FFCW have acquired.
On joining Fulham FC Women, Charmaine said, "I’m looking forward to playing with new players and against new teams. The players have been so welcoming and I’m looking forward to the challenge."

Lois Konan joins after impressing in a recent trial, previously playing at Servette, in Switzerland, before moving to the UK to study and play in Loughborough for the past two seasons.
The Dutch national will also be undertaking her placement year here, working as a Sports Science intern with the Men’s First Team as they approach their new season in the Premier League.
Lois shared her excitement: "I am looking forward to the opportunity, I’ve met the team and they have been great so far. Playing in front of the fans will be good too."

Head Coach Steve Jaye shared: "We are really excited by the signings of both Charmaine and Lois, they have been great additions to the squad and we’re looking forward to seeing how they develop throughout the season. They both fit in with the values and behaviours expected from a Fulham player, and this is a key consideration for our recruitment process. This will be an exciting season, these two additions are testament to this and we’re hopeful of a couple more over the next few weeks."
Fulham FC Women are set to start their league campaign on Sunday 21st August, with fixtures due to be released in the next two weeks.
