Fulham Under-23s take on Newcastle United on Friday in the Premier League Cup Round of 16.
The two sides will lock horns at Motspur Park, with kick-off at 2pm.
Form
Fulham:
Steve Wigley's side have won their previous seven games in all competitions and recently secured the PL2 Division Two title, and with it promotion into the top flight. In relation to the cup, the young Whites blitzed their group and will be hoping to book their place in the Quarter-Finals.
Newcastle:
The young Magpies came second in Group G, beating Watford and Birmingham City to the final spot. In the league, their strong run of form was put to an end by our 23s a couple of weeks ago, with an early Luke Harris hat-trick helping our lads to a 6-1 victory.

Player Thoughts
Ollie O'Neill was pleased to make his return in such a meaningful game, albeit in an unusual position.
"Yeah it was very nice. I was only out for two weeks, so it wasn't too bad of an injury but definitely a well-timed return. I was playing holding midfield which was a little bit foreign but it was what we needed and I gave it my best shot."
When asked about how comfortable our youngsters made it look in the end, the Republic of Ireland international responded: "It’s definitely nice to do it so emphatically, but I think we expected that of ourselves and we wouldn’t have been happy with drawing out the process."

Taking into account the recent result our 23s picked up against Newcastle, the 19-year-old is expecting a reaction from Friday's visitors.
"I'm sure it'll be a much tougher game this time because they'll come back stronger. Nevertheless, we're really confident at the moment and we're certainly looking to transfer our league form into this competition."
