Academy players Luke Harris and Sonny Hilton have both been nominated for the PL2 Player of the Month Award for February.
The deadly duo have been firing on all cylinders of late, helping push our Under-23s to the Division Two title and promotion.
Despite only being 16 years of age, Harris has been exceptional for Steve Wigley all season and enjoyed a particularly effective February. Most of his great work came against Newcastle United, where he scored three goals in just nine minutes as our 23s ran riot in the North East.
The following week, he scored a header against Aston Villa to help our lads to a 2-1 win, which secured us the title.

That Harris goal came from a Hilton corner, and the Liverpudlian went on to score the all important winning goal in that crucial game, with his next corner sailing all the way in.
A couple of weeks earlier, Hilton scored an early goal to help us to a win over Stoke City in the Premier League Cup, before recording another goal and an assist in our 6-1 victory against Newcastle.

Both were majorly influential throughout the month of February, and are fully deserving of their nominations!
Our boys are competing with Juan Larios (Manchester City), James McAtee (Manchester City), Luke Pearce (Southampton), Jesuran Rak-Sakyi (Crystal Palace) and Shola Shoretire (Manchester United).
